Ear Nose Throat Doctor

Duties and responsibilities:
A ear nose throat doctor is also known as a otolaryngologist. They are the oldest medical speciality in the United States.  They deal with the condition of ear,nose, and throat. Also with the structure of the head and the neck. Patients receive medical treatments when having a disease located in the ear, nose, throat or the base of a skull. They may receive surgical management of cancers and or the benign tumors of the hear and neck.   Otolaryngologist diseases  can affect anyone regardless to their age or gender. Most visits are from older people but 20% made are from ages 16 and younger.

Salary: $369,790 per year

Education: they need 4 years of medical school. A total of 5 years of training ( 3 years of otolaryngologist residency, 2 year of surgical training )

Demand for this profession: female population increasing 10% close to 50% in the past three decades

Reflection: Would you like to be one? Why? Why not?

I believe i would like to be one because it doesn't only stick to the same thing everyday it switches up. Which seems interesting to me because i like constant change around me. Also it seems like you can help people a lot and it doesn't sound boring.
