Chemical Engineer


Duties and responsibilities:
a chemical engineer is equipped with the knowledge of chemical engineering. Mostly focuses on the chemical industry to convert raw materials into a variety of productive products. They also deal with the design and operation of  plants and equipment. Development of new technologies such as fuel cells, hydrogen power, and nanotechnology. Other fields partly derived from chemical engineering such as materials science,  polymer engineering, and biomedical engineering. Chemicals engineers apply the principles of math to solve problems. The problems involving foods,chemicals,drugs,fuel, etc. they also need to apply the principles of bio., chemistry, and physics.


Salary: $97,360 per year and $46.81 an hour.


Education: education in chemical engineering is required. You can have a bachelor's degree or masters.


Demand for this profession: 2014-1024 2% slower than average. Employment change from 2014 to 2024 has been 600.
