- Students get to explore various opportunities in health-care.
- UCLA Hospital Intern Program
- Students get to work with healthcare administrators and experience firsthand healthcare management.
- UCLA Care Extender Program
- They get to assist Medical Center staff and experience health care from a clinical perspective through patient contact and volunteer involvement.
4. CTSI Summer Fellowship
- Students get to practice of community-partnered or health services research in urban communities.
5. Pre-Med Scholar Program
- This is a one-week, primarily educational program incorporating medical guest speakers and hospital-related tours and activities giving the Summer Scholar an involved sense of working within the field of medicine.
