Student Success Statement

“You will go far with CTR.”
Mr. Haymore

This quote by you is so important. This quote is something that students should always know and be aware of. I think it's a very truthful quote. I say this because if you choose the right, you will come a long way.  You will be successful. CTR opens the doors to success and good.  Choosing the right will always bring back to you eventually. Little by little you will grow. Choosing the right can never go wrong. By being a person who CTR you will have good character, love, support, a great future, and most of all your hard work will always pay off. An example is the Curry’s. One curry all his high school life set records, he was amazing, he was valued, but he was not CTR. After all thus, where is he now? Who knows about him? Did he make it big? The answers are I don’t know, nobody, & no. Those answers came from CTW. He was CTW not CTR and because of that now he has nothing he dreamed for. Now the other Curry, did he set records? Was he known in high school? Only by his friends and family and no he did not but one thing he always did was CTR. His amazing choice of being a CTR person and making CTR choices payed off in the end. He now has a beautiful family, a good record, has been the MVP not once but twice, he got what he dream for, he became pro. He did this by being CTR and choosing the right. Choosing the right opened door for him and gave him what he deserved for always being CTR. He got rewarded in the best way all because he chose the right. Choosing the right will indeed take you a long way.

"It's a GREAT MOMENT when someone has character to step up and do the right thing at the right time."
Pam Knox

Image result for choosing the right at the right moment              I agree with this quote by Pam Knox. I think this is right because one should always do the right thing at the right time. If one chooses to do this, because indeed it is correct they will show their value and that they are CTR people. If you choose to do right things at the right moment you won't be CTW, if you choose to do opposite than that though, you will be CTW. An example of doing something at the right time is say you go out and spot someone being robbed. Then you have the perfect time to stop it and you do so you are being CTR and showing your good character. Now, say you just let it happened in front of your face and didn't do nothing, that is CTW and you are showing how selfish you are and how you have no good character.  Being Ctr will never go wrong and there is never bad timing to do so.

World War 2

World War 2  began on September 1, 1993 and went on till September 2, 1945. The countries involved in this war include; Axis Powers, Germany, Italy and Japan. On the other side were the Allies. They included Britain, France, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, India, the Soviet Union, China and the United States of America. World war 2 did not occur in one specific place, instead it took place all across the globe. Most action took place in Europe, East Asia, and islands in the Pacific Ocean, but others were seen in places as far away as Madagascar and the Aleutian Islands. Poland, China, Russia, and Germany saw their territories directly involved in war and suffered terribly, although the united states and Canada helped by sending soldiers to fight, the country in general didn't get to see much action. Things that took place during the war include:
  • Pearl Harbor bombing by Japan on December 7, 1941 (japan attacked the US naval base at pearl harbor. They attacked in 2 waves. First to knock out ships and airfields and second to finish of what was left.)
  • Germany attacks the USSR opening Eastern front on June 22, 1941 (Hitler sent three armies into Russia to the north, east, and south. Hitler would not let his men surrender, and most of them died during the brutal winter and from starvation and disease. 91,000 men surrendered to the USSR in 1943, but only 5,000 would return to Germany because of this attack it  led to the opening of the eastern front of the war.)
  • Atomic Bomb Dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki Three Days Later on  August 6, 1945                  (US pilots dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima. The USSR declared war on Japan three days later, and the US dropped a second atomic bomb on Nagasaki. Causing the Japanese to surrender.)
  • Bataan Death March and Japan takes Philippines April 9, 1942 (Japanese took Philippines and most US forces surrendered.  Japan forced US troops to march 55 miles and more than 7,000 died.)

We can honor and show respect by donating to  USO. Also we can speak up and learn more about them. If there is a memorial go  visit one to show support to all the fallen soldiers. Lastly a simple thank you would be nice.
