“I trust that my hard work will pay off.”
Tyler Haws

Image result for tyler haws
Image result for hard work pays off I agree with Tyler's quote. I believe that Tyler is right because when you work hard to reach your goal, it will be met. Tyler made sure to put in his all and at the end he was viewed as a role model. His hard work has payed off so far. An example is say you really want some $100 shoes but, you only have $20. If you work hard and do extra chores, help out others for some extra cash, you will reach your goal and get those shoes. Now if you are lazy and just expect money to come to you the easy way, that's wrong. You will not be seen as a good character, and you won't even get the shoes you wanted. When someone really wants something they work hard to get it. A goal without a plan is just a wish. Wishes don't come true but goals do. When you put in the time and effort to a goal you are likely to get what you want and what you're working for. Also if you make mistakes that is fine because we learn from our mistakes and grow to be better. Another thing is if you work hard in school, complete your work, get good grades, don't cheat, be CTR 24/7 that will pay off. You will be very smart and you will also get lots of many opportunities from different schools. Hard work always pays off if you do it the right way.

“True Independence and freedom can only exist in doing what’s right.”
Brigham Young

This quote means that choosing the right will be your independence and your freedom. I agree with what Brigham Young is saying in this quote. When a person chooses to do what's right they are also choosing to be free and have independence. An example is say person 1 is responsible, works, goes to college and gets money. They are free and will continue to be free because they are doing what's right. Also they are independent because they do things on there own. Now person 2 doesn't have a job, did not graduate high school and steals from stores to get money. They are not independents because they choose the wrong. Another thing is sooner or later they are going to get caught, Go to jail and lose their freedom. Choosing whats right plays an important role in ones life. Choosing the right will make your life easier. Now choosing the wrong has the power to ruin someone's life because you do what's wrong. Choosing the wrong will never give back good karma it will always give back bad karma unlike choosing the right. You cant have freedom and independence if you don’t choose the right. What Brigham Young is trying to teach with this quote is to always do whats right because doing whats right will never go wrong. Being a CTR person 24/7 is VERY important.

"They're only truly great who are truly good."
Goodness = Greatness
George Chapman

Image result for they're only truly great who are truly good             I agree with is quote. I think that this quote is a very powerful one. When one is good, one is great. But if one is bad one will not be seen as great. One can not be great unless they are good. To begin with if one is a great person, everything in life will go good, making being a great person important. Say there is two athletes. One is truly great and doesn't cheat he does everything the way he is supposed to and then the second athlete is a CTW person and used steroids to cheat. In the future The one that showed he was great will have a good future while the one that was not so great will have a bad future. Being a great person is being truthful to who you are and to others. You will have a good future if you start by taking baby steps that prove you are great that will then lead you on to be truly good. If people live by George Chapman's quote they will have a very good future and career. Goodness in deed does determine greatness. First one has to be great in order to be good. Being a CTR person will only be the start to being truly great. After you will be a truly good person
Optician
Duties & Responsibilities:
They work on front lines of vision care. Opticians play one of the most important roles in a team because of the direct of interaction with their customers. The eye wear fitting process is very important because it's where an Optician loses or gains the loyalty of a customer.  Places they work in include hospitals, eye care centers, laboratories or even stores where they sell contact lenses. They are also in charge of helping a customer decide on what contact lenses or eye wear glasses to buy. To try and satisfy a customer they must be aware of modern fashion trends and possess detailed knowledge of current fitting standards.

High school diploma and training, or you can get an apprenticeship certificate, and a associates degree or bachelor's degree in opticianry for career  advancement. Further requirements are a state license.

Demand for this profession:
Projected 10 year growth 24% from 2014
Reflection: Would you like to be one? Why? Why not?
I think I wouldn’t like to be one. To begin with I don’t think this would be a challenging job and I would get bored of it. Although you get to interact with people and help them out I wouldn’t like to be an Optician. Also I would not be comfortable looking into people's eyes etc.

"Many think that the short term gain will be worth the long term pain, but it isn't. In addition, using steroids is cheating and there is nothing worse in sports than a cheater. Don't do it.”
George Mitchell

I agree with what George Mitchell says about cheating not being worth the pain. Cheating is not worth feeling happy because cheating is not right. If one was to cheat the guilt will always  stay no matter how hard it is one tries to brush it off. Cheating will always be followed up with guilt because it is not right. A CTRperson does not cheat and cheating doesn't make you a CTR person it makes you a CTW. Even though cheating is the easy way out it is not right. You rather be proud and happy to say  “I did it on my own” than a loser to say “I cheated my way up.” An example of a cheater is Alex Rodriguez. He cheated his way up the list of most home runs and even though he apologized it's not right. It's not right because anything he does now, will now be affected by his cheating in the past  because people will continue to think of him as a cheater because he gave them a reason too. Alex didn't only let himself down by using Steroids but all his fans as well. All his fan were sure he was a CTR person when in reality he is a CTW cheater! Apologizing won't change the fact that one cheating but it's a start.  Cheating is wrong, never cheat your way to success because in the long run it will affect and karma will hurt you the most.

“I won't cheat.”
Dale Murphy

Image result for i won't cheatI won't cheat is such a powerful statement in my opinion. I believe everyone should follow this quote because it has such a great meaning behind id it. This quote to me means to always do what's right no matter the situation and no matter what the reward is. Cheating will never be good because in the long run Karma will take care of you. Karma will always come back and reward you if you did good (not cheat) or give you a hard time (if you cheated.) An example of cheating and it not being right comes from some athletes. Athletes use steroids to do good in a game/ competition but that is NOT right. To begin with, there is little kids who look up to these athletes and they see them as role models. They are letting people who trust them down for their own  benefit that will eventually catch up to them. Karma will get them back for cheating because cheating is wrong. If you cheat you are not lying to no one but yourself because most of all you are letting yourself down. Cheating is never right and doing right is never cheating. Although one might think they will never get caught cheating they are wrong everything you do will come back to you both good and bad. Therefore I follow this Dale Murphy quote. Cheating is and and will only bring bad to your life eventually. Cheating will ruin you and your future. Success will come to you if you dont cheat and you will grow as a person if you choose not to.
