Optician
Duties & Responsibilities:
They work on front lines of vision care. Opticians play one of the most important roles in a team because of the direct of interaction with their customers. The eye wear fitting process is very important because it's where an Optician loses or gains the loyalty of a customer. Places they work in include hospitals, eye care centers, laboratories or even stores where they sell contact lenses. They are also in charge of helping a customer decide on what contact lenses or eye wear glasses to buy. To try and satisfy a customer they must be aware of modern fashion trends and possess detailed knowledge of current fitting standards.
Salary:
Median pay (annually) $34,840
Education:
High school diploma and training, or you can get an apprenticeship certificate, and a associates degree or bachelor's degree in opticianry for career advancement. Further requirements are a state license.

Reflection: Would you like to be one? Why? Why not?
I think I wouldn’t like to be one. To begin with I don’t think this would be a challenging job and I would get bored of it. Although you get to interact with people and help them out I wouldn’t like to be an Optician. Also I would not be comfortable looking into people's eyes etc.
