“It is our duty to concentrate all our influence to make popular that which is sound and good, and unpopular that which is unsound”
(not good)

We have the choice to make the right things known and the bad unknown. It is important to do so because the next generations will always look up to the older ones. An example is say there is two teens and 2 adults. One teen looks up to adult #1 who has a good education, a profession, and is living a good life. The other teen looks up to adult #2 who has no job, parties, does not attend school. It is likely for the teens to end up the same to the person is they look up to. This is important because as role models we should always try our best to promote what's right because there is younger kids out there who look up to everything we do without even knowing it. One bad choice impacts a lot of people not only yourself. Doing what's right will always be the “popular” thing to do. It's what's right. By doing what's right you teach others to follow you and then they teach others to do so as well. It's a never ending cycle.
