Health Educator

Duties & responsibilities: they teach others of behaviors that promote wellness. Health educators improve the health of individuals and communities by developing strategies.providing information involves them putting presentations together to inform the public about certain things.  They may also collect data and discuss health concerns. They discuss this with members of specific populations & communities. They work in a variety of places. They can either be found at hospitals, non profit organizations, doctors, etc.  They need to know how to speak to an audience. Places they promote their programs are schools, workshops and conferences. Health Educators play an important role because hey let others know information related on health.

Salary: $43, 840 per year

Education: Need a bachelor’s degree,  a Certified Health Educator Specialist (CHES), high school diploma and brief period on the job training  

Demand For This Profession:13% growth which is faster than average from 2014 to 2014



Reflection: Would you like to be one? Why? Why not?
I wouldnt like to be a health educator. I don't feel like it would be a job for me cause i would get bored. This job does not seem interesting to me. And you need to speak in front of large audiences etc.
