Environmental Health Specialist


They are responsible for enforcing the sanitation of food and water handling of hazardous and infectionist waste and cleaning liness and safety of housing and instructional environment. There responsibilities include reviewing permits, collecting data, monitoring, inspecting, etc. Another way they are know as are health or safety inspectors. A registered environmental health specialist (REHS)  works to improve the health and life threw environmental education. One requirement is being able to work with computers and technology because they use it when conducting research and analyzing data. Things they analyze are soil & water  etc. Most of their work is done in ofices and laboratories. Most working full time.
Salary: $31,359 - $64,838


Education: bachelor's degree, degree on field, 2 years experience, &   voluntary certification.

Reflection: Would you like to be one? Why? Why not?

 I would like to be an Environmental  Health Specialist because they are exposed to seeing new things every day. Another reason is that it doesn’t seem like a stressful hard job. And with this job you get to go on “adventures” something i enjoy doing.
