Optometrist

Duties & Responsibilities:

Optometrist focus on examining the eyes & applicable visual systems for things such as medical diagnosis or eye diseases. They mostly uses eyeglasses and contact lenses to help out patients. They work with people from all ages. One thing they must do after a patient's eye surgery is examin there eyes. Another thing Optometrist do is provide/ give therapy. For the most part they are found in a Doctor's office. They are more likely to work with one patient at a time.

Education:

Bachelor's degree and completion of the Optometry Admission Test given by the Association of Schools and Colleges of Optometry, State license, 4 year medical program

I wouldnt like to be and O.D. I think this because there it seems scary. If you do something wrong you can ruins someone's vision for ever and the thought of doing so is very scary. I would be to afraid to be apart of a profession like this.
