Class Evaluation

Things I like about this class include my peers. I also like the fact that we use computers instead of writing because writing gets tiring and my peers make me feel safe. Another thing I enjoy about this class is that its CTR and we get to learn new things by doing research.

What I dislike about this class is the fact that you gave the CTR project to only some classes and not all. In a way its not fair but you're the teacher after all. Other than that this is a good class. 

My recommendations about improving the class is a bit more time to complete our work because sometimes its a little bit of time and sometimes I fall behind. Also you should choose one day of the month to let us sit were ever we like.

The highlight for this class was that say that we learned a lot about you. We asked you questions and you answered them all. It was cool knowing what you were into and getting to know you a little better. 

Yes I did do my best in this class. When it came to the SSS I would put all my thoughts into my work. I would express what I truthfully felt about the statement and also for our research ones I actually did my research and always made sure to paraphrase it. 

Yes I am reading my life planning journal. At home I make sure to write in it and to challenge my self because I am challenge ready. Another thing is that I have actually completed some short term goals. I completed on getting straight A's , getting a A for bio med., etc.

Now I am committed to being a CTR person 24/7. I believe that I am committed now because it is very important. Being a CTR person helps one think before they act and that is very important. All actions have consequences that can be seen as good or as bad.

HONESTY

There was medical students taking a test one day and during that time most of them started pulling out cheat sheets from their pockets, shirts, etc. One guy in that class saw and stood up for it. He said that he hadn't come all this way to take this test and then find out classmates were cheating, and if he saw one cheating he would call them out for it. Soon after everyone began putting their cheat sheets away. Because this man set a high standard for everyone in that room it turned out to be the highest  Medical graduating class in history. The other incident was two high school friend were taking a test and one asked the other for the answer to the question. The other one thought about i and said no. he friend seemed a bit disappointed but didn't push her for more. These are great examples of always being honest. Doing something in a honest way with no lies and no cheating will feel way better than using that. By doing that you won't be hurting or playing nobody but yourself. Maybe you will be the only one to ever know you lied but that is enough guilt to live with forever with yourself. Telling lies is not right it's will never be right.

I believe this quote its true. Once you lie it's hard to go back. When you lie you see how easy it is too continue lying and getting away with it but it's so hard to stop and say the true. The more you lie and neglect the fact that you are telling a lie will close many doors. I believe this because after you lie whether it's big or small a lie is a lie and it can hurt others around you not only yourself. Telling a lie is being selfish. When you tell a lie people will start believing you lots and then if they find out all along it was a lie they will be hurt. They will feel betrayed and that's not good because word will get around of what you did and eventually no one will trust you. Having no trust from nobody is bad because almost everything you do relies on trust. Example: your mom is trusting you to clean the house, you lie and say your sick , she'll get worried and take you to the doctor. After the doctor will say something like he seems fine nothing is wrong you'll get caught. Unless you tell another lie and make it worse. Telling lies is choosing the wrong. You could have avoided all that by just saying the truth and choosing the right and being honest on why you didn't clean it. It's better to get in trouble over saying the truth than saying a lie.One must always tell the truth and not lie because it can be really hard to get someones trust back and it can really hurt both.

The Sting of the Scorpion

One day when they were in the desert, he was gonna go explore. His parents had always told him to wear shoes because they would help with better protection when it came too snakes. Scorpions etc. One day he go up and wanted to go explore. He didn't feel like putting his shoes but he knew it was the right thing to do, he disobeyed anyways. He went along and put his sandals and thought “they are like shoes after all.” he was wrong. A couple minutes into exploring he says he felt a sting that felt like a thorn he looked down and his surprise was that he saw a scorpion. A scorpion had bit him! The pain ruched up to his leg and he sat down and started calling for help. His parents rushed over to him and saw what had happened, they quickly loaded the car and began their drive to the hospital near by which was 2 hrs. away. When they got to the doctor they said it wasn't that bad and numbed his leg so he wouldn't feel pain. After that he said he learned his lesson. What he learned was to obey and do what's right even if you don't feel like it. What i learned was to always listen to what other tell you it because they tell you it for a reason, especially if they are older. We must always do what's right, even if we don't “feel like it” because either way, its what's right.

         I Believe that this quote has the three most important words. I think this because by always doing right you will get the best work. If you do right you will succeed. You never choose to do wrong because that will just backfire and will not let you succeed. Doing whats wrong will make you a bad person. Choosing the right will make you a good one because being CTR person helps you think before you act. Example is you hear some rumor from someone. You must choose the right and just keep it to yours self. Not whats wrong and go ahead and keep spreading it. Why? because some one can be really hurt by you doing so. Ones actions dont only affect us but everyone one around us as well. The choices we make today will affect us tomorrow, everything we do will always come around weather its good or bad and you like it or not. Karma will catch on too all the good and all the bad.  That is why  I agree with this quote, "Always do right."

I think this quote means if no one wants to follow its is okay. If you are alone but its the better way of you learning it is okay. I think this because if people want to influence you to do bad things that's not okay. I your so called friends do that they are not really your friends. Even though you see all them doing it, it doesn't mean its good it actually means that they are dumb. But you must prove you are smart and better than that by always making sure to choose the right. You must stay committed to being a CTR person 24/7 no matter what. You must think of all your consequences before you act on something. If you are studding and your friends hit you up to go party but you know you need to study and stay home so you do, you will have a better chance of passing at test etc. now if you choose the wrong you may fail that test and then it can affect your grade, it can affect your chances of getting credit etc. it can have a very bad impact on your life that's why i agree with this quote to be alone and have a bright future than in bad company with a not so bright future.                                                                                                 

World War 2

      World War 2  began on September 1, 1993 and went on till September 2, 1945. The countries involved in this war include; Axis Powers, Germany, Italy and Japan. On the other side were the Allies. They included Britain, France, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, India, the Soviet Union, China and the United States of America. World war 2 did not occur in one specific place, instead it took place all across the globe. Most action took place in Europe, East Asia, and islands in the Pacific Ocean, but others were seen in places as far away as Madagascar and the Aleutian Islands. Poland, China, Russia, and Germany saw their territories directly involved in war and suffered terribly, although the united states and Canada helped by sending soldiers to fight, the country in general didn't get to see much action. Things that took place during the war include:

• Pearl Harbor bombing by Japan on December 7, 1941 (japan attacked the US naval base at pearl harbor. They attacked in 2 waves. First to knock out ships and airfields and second to finish of what was left.)
• Germany attacks the USSR opening Eastern front on June 22, 1941 (Hitler sent three armies into Russia to the north, east, and south. Hitler would not let his men surrender, and most of them died during the brutal winter and from starvation and disease. 91,000 men surrendered to the USSR in 1943, but only 5,000 would return to Germany because of this attack it  led to the opening of the eastern front of the war.)
• Atomic Bomb Dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki Three Days Later on  August 6, 1945                  (US pilots dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima. The USSR declared war on Japan three days later, and the US dropped a second atomic bomb on Nagasaki. Causing the Japanese to surrender.)
• Bataan Death March and Japan takes Philippines April 9, 1942 (Japanese took Philippines and most US forces surrendered.  Japan forced US troops to march 55 miles and more than 7,000 died.)

         We can honor and show respect by donating to  USO. Also we can speak up and learn more about them. If there is a memorial go  visit one to show support to all the fallen soldiers. Lastly a simple thank you would be nice.
